The annual World Winter Sports (Beijing) Expo will be held on October 17-20, 2019, according to a press conference Wednesday.
Continuing the theme of “Winter sports power”, the expo will consist of four sections of exhibitions, thematic forums, industry exchanges and activities covering the winter sports industry.
An exhibition area of more than 30,000 square meters will be set up during the expo and more than 20 parallel forums and activities will be held. The expo is estimated to attract more than 240 domestic and foreign speakers, more than 600 domestic and foreign exhibitors and 160,000 visitors, including 24,000 professional visitors.
It is noteworthy that this year during the expo, an ice and snow carnival will be held to provide visitors with real-ice rink interaction, snow slope experience, curling experience, miniature ice and snow world experience, etc.
To be the guest of honor of the expo, Finland will bring theme events to provide a platform for enterprises to sign key projects and promote the cooperation and promotion of winter sports resources and winter tourism projects.
Co-organized by Beijing Olympic City Development Association and International Data Group, the World Winter Sports (Beijing) Expo has been held annually since 2016 in Beijing. With the support and cooperation from the International Olympics Committee and federations of seven winter Olympic sports, it helps promote the development of the winter sports industry in China and the world. It has now become the largest world-leading exposition of winter sports.
